Museum Of Youth Culture: Gavin Watson Talks

Saturday 22nd - Sunday 30th 2017

The Museum of Youth Culture project will house a specially commissioned exhibition, 'Unity through Subculture', featuring photography, ephemera and oral history. The exhibition will explore the power of fashion, music and self expression to forge a vital common thread amongst young people. Unity though Subculture is a celebration of creative freedom and it’s ability to break down walls in a world of increasing unrest.

Bringing together leading figures in the Leeds' digital community, The Digital Debate provides the opportunity to learn about and discuss the big digital topics of 2017. Presentations will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A.

Leeds Central Library’s Digital Engagement Team will be decamping to Leeds Dock for a day of free ‘Library Lab’ creative tech workshops for 6 - 8+ year olds.

Digital Ladder

Digital Ladder presents an opportunity to meet the companies based at Leeds Dock and find out more about pathways open to students and graduates interested in careers in digital, media and tech.

This event includes open-door office tours and presentations from current apprenticeship students and work placement graduates from the Sky Software Engineering Academy.

Neighbour tenants Epiphany, Ilk, First 10, I See PR, Success Flow and Hatch Communications will all be taking part.
