In 2021 Glean was launched and within 9 months over 500 universities and colleges adopted their technology in North America.
But for a year they didn’t set foot on US soil. And despite 30% of their business coming from international growth, they don’t have a single US employee.

- Building organic word-of-mouth awareness
- Experimenting with customer-centric digital marketing
- Developing customer success experiences
- Celebrating early adopters in a go-to-market strategy
Glean produces note taking software for learning.
Founded by CEO Dave Tucker, who has also been shortlisted for the Leeds Digital Festival Entrepreneur of the Year award, Glean’s mission is to improve the learning outcomes of over one million people, using technology that enables people to learn effectively and efficiently.
The talks will explore the power of branding to increase growth and the need for customer centricity in marketing. Katherine Hamilton, Brand strategist and EdTech expert is proud to host the talks in the new Leeds Dock office. She says “Leeds is a bustling centre of fantastic tech companies, and we are excited to join the discussions about how our shared talent can have the biggest impact on Tech for Good.”
