Taking place on the same weekend as the Leeds Dock – Dragon Boat Race, 2023, members of the public can enjoy food from 12 exceptional northern traders, including OI Dumplings, Acropolis Street Food and Little Red Food Truck, who’ll battle it out to receive 2 places to the finals in London this August.

These 2 places will be chosen by Michelin-starred chef Will Lockwood, and the other a People’s Choice vote by those attending the event.

Alongside the usual Awards, such as People’s Choice, Best Burger and Best Vegetarian, there will be new Awards this year – including the Spice Award, the Best Food Hall Award and the Future Food Legend Award. The Best Looking, which is a public vote for the UK’s coolest van, truck or trailer, is sponsored by Majisign. And the Sustainable Award is sponsored by the Sustainable Restaurant Association.
