Riding dapper for a cause.
We are proud to display over 200 classic and vintage motorbikes at The Boulevard in Leeds Dock on 22 May from 11am – 12:30pm for the 11th anniversary of the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride.
These bikes include Café Racer’s, Bobber’s, Classic’s, Tracker’s, Scrambler’s, Old School Chopper’s, Modern Classic’s, Sidecar’s, Classic Scooter’s, and Brat Styled motorbikes.
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was founded in Sydney, Australia, by Mark Hawwa. It was inspired by a photo of TV Show Mad Men’s Don Draper astride a classic bike and wearing his finest suit. Mark decided a themed ride would be a great way of connecting niche motorcycle enthusiasts and communities while raising funds to support the men in our lives.
The event has since swelled in popularity, connecting more than 340,000 motorbike enthusiasts worldwide (110+ countries) and raising over £2.5 million for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health programmes in 2021 alone – a phenomenal achievement by all involved! These funds are then invested by Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride’s partner, Movember, which is the world’s largest men’s health organisation.
