Join Clifford Stead for an exciting walking tour that explores the history of Leeds Dock
With the aid of archive photographs, this 1-hour walking tour will reveal the history of the area as well as provide information about various points of interest including the Royal Armouries, Crown Point Bridge, David Oluwale Bridge, Victoria Quays, Bridge End and the future Aire Park.
In addition, attendees will learn about the former bustling tram depot at Sovereign Square, the exceptional feat of Victorian engineering at The Dark Arches as well as Louis Le Prince and his invention of the moving image.
This walking tour is approximately 3-miles in distance and is FREE to attend.
The walking tour starts at 12pm on Sunday 2 July on The Boulevard, in front of Department Leeds Dock, Please arrive 5-10 minutes early.
