Established in June 2019 following six years of experience in the creation of award-winning baked goods and valued partnerships with suppliers across the UK and beyond.
Our unique range includes naturally leavened country loaves, pastries made with stoneground flour, wholegrain cookies and house made pantry staples. Every product we make is developed around a dedication to the sensory qualities of our ingredients, their flavour, texture and aroma, alongside their potential to be re-imagined in more delicious ways.
We strive to make everything taste more of itself and to showcase terroir through our baking techniques. Underpinning all we do is a commitment to working towards more ways in which a business can run in the present to continue to contribute to a future of more sustainable food with food security and ethical procurement in mind.
We’re crazy about grains and everything that comes from these mighty wonders. In particular we’re passionate about organic, UK grown grains that are produced within a sustainable farming system. These grains hold a whole host of merits from wholesome nutiriton, soil regeneration, diversification for farmers and bags and bags of flavour.
We source all of our flour and wholegrains from organic farms here in the uk, working closely with both farmers and millers to get to know our heritage varieties of grain a little better. This allows us to understand the nature of milling wheat and rye production on our tiny island and how they have paramount importance when it comes to looking at providing food security for the future.
